The annual Sentimental Journey to Cub Haven fly-in 2015 has come and gone here in Lock Haven. The weather this year played a major impact on the turn out, however that did not stop many from traveling to Lock Haven for the 30th anniversary of this wonderful event. The event was full of bomb drops, take off and short landing competitions, food galore, and live bands, including The Lindy Sisters.

Fly-In-22Planes from as far as California flew in to partake in the tradition. From the Piper J-3 Cub to the Pa-28 Cherokee many different planes arrived to celebrate.

The fly-in is a way of reminiscing with old friends, many come to talk about their planes, many come to talk about how they used to work in the Piper plant before its closure.

The Sentimental Journey wouldn’t be what it is without the great officers that they have.
