From water parks to ballparks, Pennsylvania is packed with fun for all ages. You'll love the laughs at Dutch Wonderland and will cheer on the Reading Phillies with an afternoon of baseball. Step back in time for Civil War Heritage Days, climb aboard the Strasburg Railroad, or spend the day with the Queen at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. Bring your entire family for a vacation of fun they'll never forget!

DAY ONE - GETTYSBURG
Start your visit with an overview of July 1-3, 1863, at the Gettysburg Diorama or the Electric Map at the Gettysburg National Military Park Welcome Center. Embark on a battlefield tour that covers nearly 6,000 acres with over 26 miles of park roads and over 1,400 monuments, markers and memorials dedicated to the 164,000 soldiers who fought at Gettysburg. Take in an alternative Battlefield tour with the National Riding Stables on horseback! This two-hour tour provides the three-day battle history from the trails of the Gettysburg National Military Park. If you prefer, you can also Bike the Battlefield. A two-hour tour covers 7 miles of the historic Gettysburg Battlefield, including Devils Den, Little Round Top, and Pickett's Charge.

Spend an afternoon perfecting your swing with the little ones at Mulligan MacDuffer Adventure Golf and Granite Hill Adventure Golf. Or take a ride on the Pioneer Lines Scenic Railway. Purchase your tickets at the authentic ticket window of this 1881 depot. Then jump aboard the newly renovated train for a ride winding through scenic Adams County. You can even enjoy dinner on the train! An alternate mode of transportation is a carriage ride through historic Gettysburg. The Gettysburg Carriage Company picks up daily on even days from the Dobbin House and odd days from the Gettysburg Hotel.

Spend the evening discovering the folklore of the most haunted Battlefield in the U.S. Chose from several ghost tours including Civil War Hauntings, Arbor House Haunted Gettysburg, Farnsworth House Candlelight Ghost Walks, Sleepy Hollow of Gettysburg and Ghosts of Gettysburg Candlelight Ghost Tours. You may also wish to take in the Farnsworth House Mourning Theatre and descend the staircase of a 19th century Victorian Viewing Parlor. Hear by candlelight, tales of phantom specters whom are believed to still haunt Gettysburg and the battlefields.

DAY TWO - YORK
York County offers a wide array of attractions and activities for the whole family! Start your morning with a tour of the Wolfgang Candy Company, voted "One of the Top 5 Tastiest Tours in the Nation by the Food Network!" See, smell and taste your favorite candy cooking, mixing, and coating. The young and young at heart will love to see chocolate enrobing peanut butter, almond butter crunch, mint creams and many, many more delicious candies.

Visit the Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center for an interative visit where children of all ages will learn how the body's many systems work! For a truly one of a kind experience, be sure to visit Maize Quest - America's Maze Theme Park. Use teamwork as you uncover clues, solve puzzles, and escape for an incredible maze of masterfully created corn pathways spanning 10-acres. Choose Hope Acres to experiece the Robotic Farm tour, a cows paradise complete with water beds and back scratchers. This is truly an unbelieveable tour where you will see cows milked by robots.

Visit the York City Ice Arena for year-round ice skating!

DAY THREE - HARRISBURG/HERSHEY
Hershey is all about fun. Enjoy exciting activities that are uniquely Hershey and perfect for families. Hersheypark, a world-class theme park with more than 60 thrilling rides and attractions, will provide endless thrills. New for 2004, Storm Runner, the world's first hydraulic launch coaster with inversions! This one of a kind coaster launches riders from 0-72 mph in 2 seconds flat. A hit with kids of all ages - Breakfast at the Park! After a delicious breakfast with the Hershey's Product Characters, enjoy early admission to Hersheypark and be first in line for select rides.

For entertainment of another kind visit Adventure Sports in Hershey. This family-entertainment center features go-karts, bumper boats, mini-golf, batting range and golf driving range.

DAY FOUR LANCASTER
Whether it's for the entire family or simply to just to please the kid inside you, Lancaster County is the perfect destination for fun! From interactive museums to amusement parks and stage spectaculars, and from train rides to experiencing what it's like to be a farmer, we make sure the fun never ends in Dutch Country.

The fun never ends at Dutch Wonderland - A Kingdom for Kids featuring over 30 rides plus wholesome, family-oriented shows and the new Duke's Lagoon interactive water play attraction.

Experience rural life on the farm at Verdant View Farm where you can hand-milk a cow, bottle-feed a calf or fish from a farm pond.

For your little railroad enthusiast, be sure to check out the Choo Choo Barn with its 150 animated figures and twenty one operating trains or!" Or take a ride on America's oldest short-line railroad, the Strasburg Railroad. Time your visit to coincide with the two summertime visits by Thomas the Tank Engine in June and in September. Take a 22 minute ride on this life-sized storybook engine.

Enjoy an evening of pure entertainment. The stage is set for excitement with Noah! The production of one of the Bible's best-known epics returns to Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre. Thrill to the spectacle as live and animatronic animals join Noah and his family on stage.

DAY FIVE READING
Berks County has dozens of fun activities and attractions for you and your family to explore. If you are looking for adventure, consider tubing, a water park, or hiking Hawk Mountain. How about a visit to Rodale's Experimental Farm with special hands-on projects for kids? Or maybe Institute of the Arts, with special day programs for out-of-town budding artists?
