Crowds filled Triangle Park in Lock Haven last night to watch “The Lego Movie” on the big screen during part of the city’s free Outdoor Movie Series.

The blankets, lawn chairs and snacks were out in full force last night as residents took to Triangle Park in Lock Haven for an outdoor viewing of ‘The Lego Movie’. The movie was presented by the city of Lock Haven and was sponsored by Lock Haven Hospital. City Planner Leonora Hannagan was thrilled with the turnout saying that this was the largest crowd by far that has come out to date. She credits the selection of a childrens movie as the main motivator. Hannagan also estimated that previous crowds were about 1/3 of the size as this one. The next movie is planned for AugustĀ  23, 2014 when the crowd will be treated to a viewing of ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
